The administration withdrew its challenge to a ruling halting its effort to strip funding from schools and colleges with D.E.I. programs. It did not say why.

Faculty overwhelmingly agree that generative artificial intelligence will have an impact on teaching and learning in higher education, but whether that impact is positive or negative is still up for debate.

Administrators wanted a professor to pin-point when he would talk about sexuality in a public policy class. When he couldn’t, they canceled his course.
