Hall of Fame college basketball coach Lefty Driesell has died at the age of 92. Driesell was known for building the University of Maryland's basketball team into a powerhouse and inventing 'Midnight Madness.'

The Hall of Fame basketball coach Lefty Driesell has died. His family says Driesell died Saturday at his home in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Lefty Driesell coached Davidson, Maryland, James Madison and Georgia State to conference championships and NCAA berths.
