The founder of Mothers Against College Antisemitism advised the group’s over 61,000 followers to take advantage of a new executive order allowing the deportation of Hamas supporters.

The U.S. Department of Education said Thursday it would launch investigations into San Jose State and the University of Pennsylvania.

Universities will still be allowed to offer the diversity-related courses, but students cannot be required to take them.

Thousands of students, some of whom received job offers last October, have lost federal internships, threatening their graduation plans and future careers. Kristin Comrie is set to graduate this semester with a master’s in health informatics from a fully remote program that she balances with a full-time job. But the federal hiring freeze has thrown a wrench into her plans, prompting the Veterans Health Administration to cancel her unpaid internship, which she needed to fulfill a graduation requirement.
