Henry Bridges, who founded Charlotte's Community School of the Arts, has died at 90. The school was started to offer music lessons to poor children but now also offers instruction in the visual arts, serving 4,500 students a year.

After NCAA tournament appearance this season, Davidson has strong core returning, led by guard Kellan Grady, as well as some talented newcomers.
